Welcome to the 3rd Christmas Special for The DC Comics Presents Show! This time out, we’ll be getting into DC Comics Presents #67. We start this episode with some Listener Feedback. (I once again grovel for some email and I-Tunes Reviews plus give out some final number for 2016) Next, for the first time in a long time, the Russell’s Comic Brag segment returns and with a very special guest. Next, I will be presenting a Spotlight for Superman’s Guest, Santa Claus. Then we will delve into our issue, DC Comics Presents #67. And finally, we take a trip to the Comic Spinner Rack. All that and some special Christmas comic relief splashed throughout the episode. I hope you enjoy my gift to you!

A wonderful Christmas gift for your listeners! Thank you! Who can resist Superman and Santa, together in one story? With Santa involved, you just know everything’s going to work out okay in the end. I’m surprised that, with his Fortress not too far from the North Pole, Superman hasn’t visited Santa before this. Maybe he doesn’t want to interrupt Santa’s important work.
Your musical choices were excellent throughout the episode, and I enjoyed John Denver and the Muppets singing “The 12 Days of Christmas”, but I absolutely LOVED Stan Freeberg’s “Christmas Dragnet”. Did you know that a lot of people call them “green onions, but they’re really scallions? The “Lum & Abner” piece was quite a pleasant surprise, too.
It’s great that you kept your episode schedule so well that this one came out right at Christmas time. This really was a treat! Thanks for a great year of podcast listening. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
