Substituting for Guest Host Jimmy Anderson, who was substituting for Russell Bragg, will be Russell Bragg.  (all will be explained during the episode)  This time around we’ll be getting into DC Comics Presents #83.  First off, I will be bringing you some Listener Feedback.  (Yes…I grovel for more email, comments and I-Tunes Reviews.)  Next, we’ll have a Spotlight on Superman‘s Guests, Batman & The Outsiders.  After that, we will delve into today’s issue, DC Comics Presents #83. The episode closes with a trip to the Comic Spinner Rack.

  2. It was good to hear your voice again, Russell, and intriguing that you ended up substituting for a fellow who was originally going to substitute for you.
I enjoyed this episode, particularly for two things: I always like seeing Batman and Superman sharing adventures, so this was a bit of a holiday treat for me. Here, once again, Superman was almost a guest star in his own book, with the Outsiders taking a larger part in the story, but that’s okay — Superman can afford to be gracious that way. Also, it was good to see Alfred, the original Outsider, appearing with the team of Outsiders.
I enjoyed the appearance of Ira Quimby (IQ), who I think had greater potential than most writers used.
I’m looking forward to next episode’s appearance of the Challengers of the Unknown.
