Episode #47 (Superman & The Masters Of The Universe)
This time out, we’ll be getting into DC Comics Presents #47. Due to the length of the Spotlight segment, we will forego Listener Feedback. So our Episode will open with a Spotlight for Superman’s Guest, The Masters Of The Universe. Our “Whatever Happened To..?” segment concludes the Golden Age Sandman story from Episode #42. This time we will find out Whatever Happened To..? to Sandy The Golden Boy. And finally, we will take a trip to the Comic Spinner Rack.

I enjoyed your presentation, but I must admit that I was never all that interested in He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. I guess it’s partly age-related, since I was already out of college when the Masters of the Universe first appeared. Another part of it is probably comic-nerd snobbery, since I’ve always seen the Masters of the Universe characters as toys, and the comic book versions as simply advertisements for those toys, but others probably have different opinions. Although this was not my favorite issue of the DC Comics Presents series, I think you’ve done it justice, at least.
