As I’ve mentioned before, I’m not a big fan of team-ups of Superman and DC’s supernatural/magical characters, just because I don’t think they usually mesh well together, and I think that is true in this story. I did like, though, the idea that Superman, who lost his world through a catastrophe, was sensitive to how Arion might feel about the fate of Atlantis, and tried to shield him from that knowledge.
Despite my feelings about the story, I think you did your usual fine job in covering this issue. That’s the mark of a good podcaster, I guess: That you can keep me interested, even in a story I’m not crazy about. Thanks, as always.
