Episode #41 (Superman & The Joker)
This time out, we’ll be getting into DC Comics Presents #41. I will be presenting a Spotlight for Superman’s Guest, The Joker. Instead of a “Whatever Happened To..?” segment, this time around we will be getting into a 16-page preview of “The New Wonder Woman“. (No Hostess Ad this time…I hope the ads haven’t stopped yet!) And finally, we will take a trip to the Comic Spinner Rack.

A fun listen, as usual! I seem to recall reading once, that comedian/actor W.C. Fields had stashed money away in banks all around the country, often under false names, and that, when he died, many of those accounts were never found. For some reason, that came to my mind, listening to this story. I wonder if the writer, Martin Pasko, had heard the same story.
I remember that Martin Pasko had been a frequent correspondent to the letter columns of DC comics, eventually becoming one of their writers (much like a certain frequent commenter to the “Superman in the Bronze Age” podcast eventually became a podcaster, himself). Ain’t life full of amazing little coincidences?
