Episode #77: Superman & The Forgotten Heroes
This time out, we’ll be getting into DC Comics Presents #77. The show starts with some Listener Feedback. (Yes…I grovel for more email, comments and I-Tunes Reviews) After a long absence, the return of everybody’s favorite segment; Russell’s Comic Brag. Next, we’ll have a Spotlight for Superman’s Guests, The Forgotten Heroes. After a podcast promo, we will delve into our issue, DC Comics Presents #77. Finally, we take a trip to the Comic Spinner Rack.
The DC Comics Presents Show 
Another fun episode, and I’m looking forward to the next part of this story with “The Forgotten Villains”, covered by your “Back to the Bins” comrades. In your “Spotlight” segment, you mention that the Forgotten Heroes didn’t make an appearance in other media. This is true for them, as a group, I suppose, but, individually at least, we’ve seen Rick Flag in The Suicide Squad movie, and Rip Hunter has had a continuing role in the TV series, Legends of Tomorrow. I remember when that series began airing, I told my wife, “When I was a kid, if anyone had told me that there would one day be a prime time TV series featuring Rip Hunter, I’d have laughed in their face.”, that’s how obscure he was. Forgotten Heroes, indeed.
